Located in the breathtaking Samaná Bay is Cayo Levantado, nicknamed Bacardi Island, due to the island being featured in numerous Bacardi Rum advertisements. The cruise to the island is approximately 30-45 minutes via catamaran. On the island, you can relax in the laid-back atmosphere, have lunch at one of the delicious traditional Dominican restaurants, enjoy tropical drinks like coco-locos and pina coladas, snorkel around the coral reefs, enjoy paddle-boarding, or enjoying the magnificent marine life underneath the water's surface! In route, pass by the notorious Bridge to Nowhere in downtown Samaná, potentially see whales, dolphins, pelicans, egrets, and huge starfish!

Los Haitises National Park

Adjacent Cayo Levantado is Los Haitises National Park, established in 1976. Noted as a popular tourist area for ecotourism and thriving bird and mammal life, this is an area you don't want to miss! The park consists of caves, caverns, and sinkholes. Some of the caverns you may visit contain pictograms and petroglyphs that possibly predate the Taino people. On this tour, you will take a trip aboard our private catamaran into the mangrove forest through the park's canals. The captain will drop you off at the Yaniuga Spa where you can have an amazing lunch experience at your expense. Return to the catamaran and enjoy a gorgeous sunset cruise in route back to Puerto Bahia Marina!
